UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett and his long-time girlfriend, Laura Gregory, got married a few days ago in the United Kingdom.
Pimblett hasn’t fought in the UFC Octagon since a controversial unanimous decision victory over Jared Gordon at UFC 282 last December. He’s recovering from some injuries and is targeting a return to the cage potentially later this year.
In the meantime, Pimblett is enjoying life away from the fight game with Gregory. The two were married at a beautiful venue in the UK last weekend.
Paddy Pimblett Gets Married Ahead Of Anticipated UFC Return
In a recent Instagram post, Pimblett revealed a massive milestone in his life.
“What a day from start to finish we couldn’t of asked for better weather, atmosphere or people we had around us!” Pimblett posted. “Would like to thank everyone who came Laura is finally Mrs. Pimblett now even tho we’ve been a married couple for years.”
The former Cage Warriors champion is nursing an ankle injury that has indefinitely postponed his UFC return. Pimblett has been called out by some of the top names in the division, including Drew Dober and Matt Frevola.
Pimblett won his UFC debut against Luigi Vendramini in September 2021 before earning recent wins over Rodrigo Vargas and Jordan Leavitt. He’ll likely get another step up in competition for his next UFC test.
In the meantime, Pimblett is enjoying time with his new wife and is looking ahead to a return to the Octagon to rise the lightweight ladder.
