Dern get back into the win column after her last loss against Xiaonan Yan. The fight was close, but Yan was able to edge out a unanimous decision over Dern at UFC Vegas 61(also known as UFC Fight Night 211) on Oct. 1, 2022. Ranked eighth in the division, Dern is still potentially a few wins away from competing for the UFC Strawweight Championship. However, a loss against Angela Hill this Saturday will set her back from being in the conversation.
While Dern hopes to rebound from a loss, Hill is coming into the fight on a two-fight win streak. Her last victory was against Emily Ducote by unanimous decision at UFC Orlando(also known as UFC on ESPN 42) on Dec. 3, 2022. Although she is on a two-fight win streak, the betting odds have Hill as a +165 underdog against Dern, according to DraftKings. Despite the odds on Hill, she has the skills and cardio to give the eighth-ranked strawweight problems in a five-round bout.

The co-main event will feature a middleweight bout between Edmen Shahbazyan and Anthony Hernandez. Both fighters are coming into their fight, having won their last matchup. However, Hernandez has had better recent success in UFC, beating his previous three opponents.
